Colombo Sai Centre has been celebrating Thai Pongal at Sathya Sai Suva Sewana Cancer Hospice for the past several years. This year too, the Young Adults of Colombo Samithi along with SSE Children Celebrated Pongal on 25th January 2020. The Young Adults decorated the hospice with colorful art (Kolam) and maavilai thoranam (mango leaves and Coconut leaves). Pongal (Sweet Milk Rice) was prepared in a traditional way along with the inmates and staff.
A Special Bhajan was conducted by SSE Children and Young Adults followed by birthday celebrations of 2 inmates. 22 inmates and staffs benefitted and 16 Young Adults and 10 SSE Children Participated.
